Decades years later, that affirmation is rising to fruition. Recently, her latest screenplay, 'Dead & Alive', won the Best Screenplay award at the Digi60 Filmmakers Festival. In 2021, Deena’s short screenplay, 'Agent Hala', won a nation-wide competition held by the French Embassy in Bahrain, which also earned her a screenwriting mentorship.

With a giant stack of scripts scattered in every corner of her life, Deena works tirelessly to create fresh, exciting, and hilariously thought-provoking films/tv and digital media content.
